The client set out to upgrade and refurbish their existing AV infrastructure in their existing plant at Hosur. The goal was to bring their collaboration spaces up to current industry standards while preserving the structure of the existing rooms.
Tata Electronics desired to have a seamless conferencing experience when connecting with their customer from various parts of the world. The solution must offer reliable connectivity, intuitive controls, professional-grade audio-visual quality, improve the clarity and effectiveness of meetings and presentations and provide a consistent and user-friendly experience across all meeting space.
Tata Electronics wanted to make this space for important conversations and to add flexible technology that integrate seamlessly with the space and easy for users to use. They wanted major conferencing platforms (MTR, Webex, Zoom) to work seamlessly. CTW recommended state-of-the-art AV system that perform and exceed customer expectation.
The implementation included a Dual 98” 4K Display setup to support video of video call participants while also being able to view content being shared and discussed. Cisco Room Kit EQ was used to deliver great speaker tracking conferencing experience. Shure Ceiling Microphones and Bose Ceiling Loudspeakers made up the audio system to deliver crystal-clear speech.
Customer’s existing large conference rooms had a single 65” display with a camera and speaker kept on a credenza below the display, and mic pods kept on the table. The audio quality was extremely poor, the far-end could not hear properly during the VC calls, while in-room participants also faced great challenge with speech intelligibility. The overall existing AV setup did not align with customer’s vision.
The integration of Cisco Webex-based systems into TATA Electronics' refurbished conference rooms significantly elevated their collaboration capabilities. Despite working within the constraints of existing infrastructure, the upgraded setup delivered modern, high-quality audio-visual performance. Customer now benefits from crystal-clear audio via ceiling microphones and loudspeakers, along with an intuitive interface.
The solution delivered on meeting equity, ease of use and visitor impact. The result is a seamless hybrid collaboration experience that supports both day-to-day operations and high-level meetings.
